Are you interested in bringing your organization to volunteer with us for a project day?
We have opportunities for groups to volunteer at both Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Sanford, as well as our Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation (OCIC) in Eustis, FL (located in Lake County, approximately 30 minutes from the Zoo). To share some information about the OCIC, they are our off-site conservation program which is closed to the public, so volunteering there is a great way to see some of the amazing work they do!
Your group can volunteer by completing a project at either the Zoo or OCIC, as well as assisting at one of our Zoo events.
The projects you may be involved in can range with a variety of projects including assisting with events, making animal enrichment, invasive plant removal, painting, building, refurbishing animal habitats, and more! We also happily welcome sponsored group projects, if your organization is interested that please contact the volunteer services team. Please complete this application form if you are interested in bringing your group out to assist with a project day at either Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens or the Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation (OCIC). Please note that every volunteer will need to complete the Volunteer Information Release form that will be signed in the sign up on our site.
Once you complete the form, we will be in touch to confirm a day for you to bring your group!
