Great opportunity to do solo, with friends, family, or your team at your organization!
Signing up to be part of our Zoo Crew means you are often the first impression our guests receive at our biggest events like Zoo Boo Bash, Asian Lantern Festival, Hippity Hop, Sunset at the Zoo, Brews at the Zoo, and so much more! You could be playing games with guests, leading craft activities, providing directions/information, or handing out treats to guests, as just a few examples.

What Do Zoo Crew Volunteers Do?
- Support various special events at the Zoo throughout the year
- Greet and direct guests at events
- Engage with guests throughout the Zoo and at designated activity stations
- Assist with Zoo projects
What We Ask of Zoo Crew Volunteers:
- Must be over 18 years old
- If you are an adult bringing a minor, the child must be 13+ years or older and must accompany the adult chaperone at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate the ability to work well with guests.
- Be interested in engaging with the public about conservation and wildlife.
- Must be able to tolerate Florida’s weather conditions.
- Abide by policies in the Volunteer Handbook.
